Mathematics Lecturer (9M)
Job Details
The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a 100% FTE, 9/12 lecturer to teach mathematics courses in the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assigning and grading assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues. May participate in professional development.
Performance Objectives
Teaching: Develop and deliver courses in an in-person format. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: Master’s degree required. Teaching experience at the post-secondary level at a regional campus required, including university students at a pre-college skill level.
Desired: Familiarity with The Ohio State University’s department of Mathematics courses and curriculum.
Additional Information
The budget for this position is $50,000. The offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications.
