Salary Range: $1,615 per credit hour (lower division), $1,645 per credit hour (upper division), or $1,808 per credit hour (graduate level)

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences has an opening for a temporary, non-tenure track, part-time lecturer to teach mathematics courses. The appointment is for one semester, with the possibility of renewal for future semesters.

What you will do:

• Design and deliver courses
• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials
• Design and deliver assessments, such as exams, laboratory assignments, and reports
• Collaborating with other academics and lecturers to improve teaching methods and expand knowledge base.
• Setting and grading assignments, tests, and exams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• An earned master's degree in the mathematical sciences from an accredited university; OR a Master's degree in any area and 18 credit hours of graduate-level course work in the Mathematical Sciences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A record of successful teaching at the secondary or college level.
