Job Summary:
The Medical Imaging Analyst in Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) will support clinical research and patient-care initiatives focused on autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) and other cystic kidney disorders. The analyst will be responsible for the acquisition, organization, processing, analysis, and interpretation of renal imaging data, with particular emphasis on quantitative assessment of kidney structure, cyst burden, and disease progression.
This individual will work closely with nephrologists, radiologists, imaging scientists, clinical research coordinators, biostatisticians, and investigators to support observational studies, clinical trials, and translational research programs.

- Perform quantitative analysis of kidney imaging studies,
including MRI, CT, and ultrasound examinations.
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics,
Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science or related
field.
- A combination of education and related
technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted
for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
- A combination of education and related
technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted
for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
- One (1) year of data management and bioinformatic analyses
experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational
Biology, Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
- Two (2) years of experience analyzing data using
high-performance computing.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United
States without requiring sponsorship. We are unable to provide work

- Strong knowledge of basic statistical principles relevant in
medical research.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and apply
quantitative analytical approaches.
- Demonstrated fluency in one or more programming languages
(e.g., R, Python, Perl, Java, C++) and willingness to learn new
programming languages as necessary.
- Familiarity with statistical analytical concepts and
methods.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and
orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with employees at all levels throughout the
institution.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology, and medical
terminology.
- Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol
information.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $58,363 – $64,500 .
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
