About The Team
The Meet Murdoch Team is part of our multi‑channel Future Student Service Centre, supporting Murdoch University’s 10‑year strategy for significant student growth. We engage domestic and international prospective students through phone, email, online chat, SMS and face‑to‑face interactions on campus and at major career expos and education fairs.
Your New Role!
We are seeking multiple casual Meet Murdoch Team Assistants to support future student engagement and Admissions operations. In this role, you’ll deliver high‑quality customer service across a range of enquiries and assist the Admissions Team with efficient application processing and communication.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Respond to inbound enquiries from domestic and international future students via phone, email, online chat, and face‑to‑face.
Support outbound calling campaigns to future and current students.
Convert future student enquiries into applications through clear, supportive communication.

This casual role attracts a competitive casual rate of $41 p/hr – $45 p/hr inclusive of 25% casual loading plus 12% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:
Strong telephone manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident in engaging with a diverse range of callers in a professional and welcoming way.
Proven ability to build rapport, influence prospects, and convert enquiries into student applications.
Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite with strong accuracy in data entry.
