Your next career opportunity:

As a Concierge at Melbourne Connect, you'll be the friendly face of this innovative precinct. You'll have the opportunity to interact with a diverse community of visitors, staff, and tenant partners, providing top-notch customer service and support. Your role will involve managing inquiries, assisting with events, and ensuring smooth operations across the Superfloor, allowing you to develop a wide range of skills in hospitality and customer relations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Front-of-House Services: Greet the precinct’s many hundreds of visitors a day, manage inquiries, and guide users to their destinations, serving as the primary point of contact for the precinct.
  • Support Event Management: Assist with setup, coordination, and breakdown of events, including managing bookings and providing on-site support.
  • Maintain Facility Operations: Ensure meeting spaces are well-presented, assist with audio-visual equipment, and coordinate with service providers for seamless precinct operations. Manage costs and revenue of the meeting rooms and concierge service as a business stream on behalf of the Director Operations.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Develop FAQs, implement service improvements, and build strong relationships with Melbourne Connect community stakeholders.

You may be a great fit if: You are a customer-focused professional with excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional hospitality and service.

You may also:

  • Have previous customer service experience in a similar fast paced liaison role with weight given to experience in non-university or corporate public facing roles
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital booking systems.
  • Be flexible and willing to work outside standard office hours when required.
  • Have or be willing to obtain Fire Warden and First Aid certifications
