As the Creative Content Producer at Melbourne Connect, you'll play a pivotal role in showcasing The University of Melbourne's pioneering innovation ecosystem to national and global audiences. You'll create compelling multimedia content that brings to life the precinct's world-class research, industry partnerships, and technological breakthroughs. This role offers the opportunity to shape the narrative of Australia's leading innovation hub, collaborate with top researchers and industry leaders, and contribute to solutions for pressing global challenges through powerful storytelling.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Content Strategy: Shape the development and delivery of a comprehensive content strategy across all Melbourne Connect channels.
  • Multimedia Production: Create high-quality written, visual, and video content that showcases innovation and impact.
  • Digital Management: Oversee website and community intranet content, ensuring an engaging and up-to-date digital presence.
  • Campaign Support: Produce targeted content for key initiatives, including tenancy attraction and event promotion.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, industry partners, and internal teams to identify and create compelling stories.

  • Hold a qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field with substantial content production experience.

The Chancellery Research and Enterprise portfolio is led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and works across a number of areas including:
