The Communicable Disease Division of the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene is seeking a Microbiologist I or Microbiologist II to join the Client Services Department. The successful candidate will support clinical specimen receiving and processing, inventory management, data entry into our laboratory information system - Epic Beaker, customer service activities, and other tasks and projects as assigned.

This position functions under close supervision and reports to the Administrative Supervisor of the Client Services Department of CDD. The position is on-site at 2601 Agriculture Drive, Madison, WI 53718. Work hours are 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday; 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM Saturdays (rotating); occasional Sundays, holidays, and additional shifts may be required in support of public health needs.
