"Move Services Assistant"

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people with a passion for providing the highest levels of customer service to join our team in delivery of highly professional, efficient and customer centric support services.

Successful candidates will join our Move Services Team and undertake manual handling tasks to support the delivery of seamless, customer-centric move services within and between university buildings. They’ll have the ability to undertake physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transporting heavy items (training will be provided) and must hold a valid full group B driving licence to enable them to drive university vehicles.

The role will predominantly involve working standard daytime working hours but may be required to work weekends, evenings and / or nights on occasion to suit the needs of the University during busy periods. As a result, a 10% flexibility allowance will be paid.

This is a full-time, open-ended position.

Salary: £25,685 per annum (Grade 2)

Breakdown:

Basic Pay (spine point 9) = £23,350
Shift Allowance (10% of £23,350) = £2.3350
