Music Faculty
Job Description
Rochester Community and Technical College is seeking applications for potential adjunct instructors who qualify to teach in the Music Program. The Music Program within the Department of the Arts is looking for a part-time faculty member available to teach lower division college courses in Music, specifically Concert Choir. Areas of expertise include (but are not limited to) vocal pedagogy, diction, music education methods, conducting, applied lessons, ensembles and associated performances.
Salary Range
Compensation is per credit, the current credit rate at $1,650 per credit.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree with a major in music, or Master's degree in any discipline/field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) music.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience in Music is highly desired. Professional experience with choir direction or instruction highly desired. Experience teaching at a two-year college level.
