Offer Description
Complex systems and critical infrastructures are essential to modern society, and protecting them from cyber threats is becoming increasingly challenging. The widespread adoption of cloud computing, remote working and mobile technologies has expanded the attack surface, requiring advanced methodologies, innovative technologies and best practices to counter sophisticated threats such as zero-day attacks and emerging malware. Cybersecurity, however, goes beyond technology. It also requires professionals with strong technical, legal and organizational expertise who can bridge the cybersecurity skills gap and safeguard citizens' rights in cyberspace. The National Ph.D. Programme in Cybersecurity (Ph.D.-CySec) aims to educate a new generation of experts capable of combining technical excellence with interdisciplinary knowledge to address current and future cybersecurity challenges, contributing to a safer, more resilient and trustworthy digital society.
