NCAA Compliance Officer, Athletics
Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati, Department of Athletics seeks applications for an NCAA Compliance Officer. This is a full-time position, salaried, with a comprehensive benefits package.
The successful candidate will serve as day-to-day compliance liaison for the sports of Swimming and Diving, Women’s Golf and Women’s Tennis through coordination, planning and monitoring of all aspects of NCAA compliance while following all departmental, university, conference, and NCAA policies and regulations.
Essential Functions
- Assist with managing the direction, design, implementation, and enforcement of the NCAA Compliance Program.
- Research and interpret NCAA legislation and recommend policy and procedure changes as needed.
- Prepare reports. Collect, audit, analyze documentation and provide expert advice to university and external officials.
- Assist with managing the development of training materials and delivery of training to coaches, staff, university personnel, and student-athletes.
- Assist with managing investigations and reporting problems related to NCAA regulations.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
One (1) year of work experience in collegiate athletics.
