NDPH Early Career Fellowship

Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford), Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford, OX3 7LF

The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.

The NDPH Fellowship programme is intended to support suitably experienced individuals to develop an independent research area which will enhance Population Health research in Oxford. Under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will carry out individual and/or collaborative research activity within a wider research programme.

Early Career Research Fellowships are awarded for 2 years, and funding will be provided to support research programme costs. Applicants should have, or have submitted a relevant PhD by the start date, have a clear, feasible and relevant research proposal and the ability to manage their own academic research activities.

You will be required to upload a CV, a Supporting Statement and a Research Plan as part of your application. The Supporting Statement should outline your interest in the Fellowship and clearly explain how you meet the selection criteria, while the Research Plan should summarise your proposed work in line with the guidance provided.

The position is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed term for 2 years.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 29 May 2026.
