Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to CNS neoplasia, neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation/infectious disease, or muscle/nerve disease. Research space and start up funding will be made available to the appropriate new faculty member.
The successful candidate should be well-versed in emerging molecular tools and diagnostic paradigms particularly associated with cancer and neoplastic disorders. The identified candidate will also provide support and consultation for scientific and clinical initiatives as well as have an opportunity to develop their own academic studies.
