Neuropsychologist, Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Neurology, Neuropsychology
Position Summary
Direct clinical neuropsychological services. This position’s effort will be split between clinical and research in the area of Cognitive Neurology.
Duties of a Neuropsychologist may include the following but are not limited to:
- Administration, scoring, interpretation of neuropsychological assessment measures.
- Report writing based on above.
- Involvement in multidisciplinary teams.
- Interviewing and consultation with patients and families.
- Possible involvement in psychotherapy and/or family support groups as related to neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders (e.g., epilepsy, ADHD).
- Participation in departmentally based research programs.
- Supervision of graduate students in psychology.
- Supervision of postdoctoral fellows.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of PhD, PsyD (or foreign equivalent) in psychology (Accreditation through the American Psychological Association preferred)
- Completion or in the process of completing a neuropsychology fellowship
- Licensed to practice psychology in New York state
- Primary training in either pediatric or lifespan neuropsychology
- Eligibility for board certification through the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology or the American Board of Neuropsychology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience treating patients with Cognitive disorders.
- Experience using EMR.

To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).
