these disciplines is key to the progress of neuroscience. The successful candidates will be embedded in a richly collaborative community supporting intellectual creativity. The Department of Neuroscience at Yale realizes that the full potential of our research lies in the power that varied perspectives bring to the field. We seek to foster an environment where all members of our community are supported and empowered to push forward the frontiers of neuroscience. Emphasis will be placed on recruiting at the level of Assistant Professor, but appointments at Associate Professor level may be considered. The computational neuroscience community at Yale is dynamic and expanding, and includes the Department of Neuroscience, the Wu Tsai Institute, the Kavli Institute for Neuroscience, and the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science. The Department of Neuroscience resides in a space optimized for modern science and maximal interaction and collaboration. New faculty will be supported by a generous start-up package and ongoing salary support. Faculty are expected to develop a productive and innovative research program that will include the opportunity to participate in graduate and medical education.
