Funded PhD Project (Students Worldwide)
About the Project
Halide perovskites possess unique ionic and electronic properties that make them promising materials for future smart technologies. While ionic migration is traditionally viewed as a source of instability, this PhD project seeks to understand, control, and harness ionic dynamics as a functional mechanism for adaptive and intelligent device operation. Through the study of ion transport, defect physics, and device engineering, the project aims to establish the foundations for next-generation smart perovskite devices with applications ranging from intelligent sensing and autonomous systems to sustainable electronics and artificial intelligence hardware.
