"Nurse Practitioner Cardiothoracic Surgery"

Come join our dynamic, highly skilled Cardiothoracic (CT) Surgery inpatient APP team. The Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Health Practitioner position has clinical, procedural, administrative, and educational responsibilities in the care of adult patients requiring cardiac and thoracic surgery. The CT surgery service provides advanced surgical treatments, including coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic and mitral valve replacement, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and heart transplantation. We value individuals who are professional, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and able to prioritize and adapt to changing situations. Our CT surgery APPs manage patients collaboratively across the inpatient continuum of care with CT Surgery Fellows, Cardiac Surgeons, and Intensivists, perform bedside procedures, and assist in the operating room (RNFA certification required).

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $105.50 - $136.83 (Hourly Rate).
