Position Summary/ Department Summary:

Nurse Practitioner, Pain Treatment Service- Per Diem

Key Responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team to provide care to children, adolescents and adults chronic pain conditions.
• Accountability for care of patients with chronic pain conditions including Injections, follow up appoints and phone triage.
• Working 10-hour days Monday through Fridays including 4 shifts per month

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• A master's degree in nursing

Experience:

• 3-5 years' experience in a pediatric setting, ideally with a pediatric intensive care background
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Meticulous attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills, and superb collaborative skills

Licensure/ Certifications:

• A current MA NP license: Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner
• BLS and PALS certification

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
