Job Summary
The School of Nursing at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applicants to apply for a part-time, non-tenure-track, adjunct faculty position in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program. This appointment is made on a semester-by-semester, as-needed basis. Salary is commensurate with education, background, and experience.
Essential Functions
Duties vary depending on the program and need and include, but are not limited to:
- Primary teaching in on-line courses for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program
- Assisting other classroom faculty as needed.
- Mentoring students.
- Participation in program meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Terminal degree in nursing (DNP or PhD).
- Minimum of one (1) - two (2) years of clinical experience as a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) .
- Eligible for Texas licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience
