Job Description
The Department of Nursing in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services is seeking a full-time Nursing Simulation Technician/Information Technology Specialist I (00104) beginning in August 2026.
The simulation technician will assist in the day-to day operation of a high-fidelity simulation environment focused on nursing practice and patient outcomes. This includes providing technical support for all simulation operations including preparation, maintenance and repair of computerized manikins (software and hardware), task trainers, and multimedia peripherals.
This position is located in Farmville, Virginia, and is required to work in person on Longwood University’s campus. Some remote work may be allowed during the off-peak times of year.
