JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Senior IT GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Analyst oversees technical design, implementation, maintenance, and responsibilities for multiple information security disciplines such as security policy, awareness and education, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
- Supports compliance monitoring of secure research environments and projects involving Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- Participates in research cybersecurity and export control reviews to assess compliance with approved safeguards and data protection requirements.
- Provides guidance and training on secure data handling practices, access controls, and research cybersecurity expectations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree and six years of related IT experience including demonstrated expertise in multiple information security domains, project management skills, OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Excellent project management and team participation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
