NYU Mindhive Junior Research Support (Part-time)
NYU CREATE is a consortium of researchers committed to conducting research, providing education and fostering community interaction to design evidence-based digital platforms that address the needs of a broad range of learners.
CREATE is currently seeking one part-time position to support the MindHive Research Project, a research through design for discovery in learning experiences. Please find more information about MindHive through the Project website.
The position is for 20 hours per week for six weeks, contingent on needs and availability of funds.
Responsibilities:
- Support organization of the MindHive Fair
- Create tasks and surveys ("building blocks") in MindHive that learners can use to create their own projects
- Translate platform elements into other languages
- Redesign the MindHive and YouQuantified Google site
- The position will not include any supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with lab.js (or willingness to learn)
- Interest in behavioral research or experimental psychology
- Previous experience with internationalization (i18n)
- Ability to work collaboratively in an asynchronous team
- Attention to detail
Working policy:
This position is hybrid eligible (on-site 60-80% of the time).
Job duties are conducive to being performed either in person on Campus at New York University, or remotely at least part of the time.
