Occupational Therapist - IRP - Medicine | Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
Position Summary
The OT-IRP will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments with children on the autism spectrum and administering caregiver-report measures, along with ensuring data completeness and scoring. The OT-IRP will also assist with the day-to-day operations of the AquOTic clinical trial as needed.
Job Requirements
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience in aquatic occupational therapy and working with children on the autism spectrum is highly encouraged. Must be a competent swimmer. Minimum of one year of research experience in the field of occupational therapy, rehabilitation, psychology, or other behavioral fields desired. Clinical experience with children on the autism spectrum and aquatic therapy is highly desired. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be self-directed with demonstrated ability to work independently. Familiarity with the ethical conduct of human subjects research desired.
