Office Associate
This position provides complex administrative support for the department of Special Education and Communication Disorders. This position requires independent judgment and a high level of organizational skills; ability to manage and coordinate multiple databases and systems; hiring processes for personnel, maintain department budgets and course schedules, travel requests, issues course permits, assists with scheduling of classes, assists with Reappointment Promotion and Tenure and annual review processes, department event planning and reservations, website maintenance, organizing special education gradate program applications, and other duties as assigned by the department chair and/or dean of the College. This position also assists with the Speech-Language Pathology Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) Report for ASHA. Serve as office supervisor and other responsibilities as assigned. This position will work closely with the department chair, faculty, department clinics, clinic patrons, UNO students, and public.
