Office Coordinator, Center for Faith & Justice
Xavier University, a Jesuit and Catholic institution, seeks applications for the position of Office Coordinator for the Dorothy Day Center for Faith and Justice (CFJ). The CFJ helps students deepen their faith lives, discover purpose and work for a better world. The Office Coordinator provides administrative support for the Center and creates a space of hospitality and welcome for all students.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of the center and coordinating outreach and hospitality programs. This includes working with the Director on budget management and tracking, processing payments and ordering of supplies, training and managing student workers and the maintenance of the service shuttle. This position is the first person to welcome students to the center and creates a sense of hospitality and welcome. This role also leads team wide efforts for community building and outreach programs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Associates Degree Preferred.
- Two years experience in a comparable role with similar responsibilities and complex needs.
- Excellent Communications Skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office and aptitude to learn other software.
- Familiarity with Ignatian spirituality and Jesuit education is preferred.
