Success in this role requires the ability to learn department-specific software applications, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in the department, clinics, and school of medicine.
- Learn and effectively utilize department scheduling and communication platforms, including QGenda and TigerConnect, to support daily operations and ensure schedule accuracy.
- Monitor, update, and maintain scheduling records to ensure timely communication and operational continuity.
- Sort, distribute, and process all incoming and outgoing departmental mail and deliveries.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with faculty, APPs, staff, residents, fellows, and clinic partners regarding scheduling and operational matters.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with university policies.
- Identify scheduling conflicts or discrepancies and work collaboratively with appropriate individuals to resolve issues.
- Provide general administrative support to the department and faculty as assigned.
- Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent & 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.
