1. Evaluate athletic injuries and medical conditions, and provide immediate therapeutic care for such conditions within the scope of practice of an Athletic Trainer.
2. Refer athletes to appropriate medical attention as necessary.
3. Provide Athletic Training services for club sports games as assigned.
4. Determine the advisability of play for injured athletes and report this status to the appropriate team official.
5. Provide proper documentation to the Office of Student Engagement of all injuries or athletes treated at assigned games.
6. Demonstrate ethical behavior in regards to work duties and in relationships with student-athletes and members of the campus community
7. Ensure universal precautions for bloodborne pathogens are followed in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations
8. Review and attest to your ability to carry out Connecticut College’s Emergency Action Plan for the venue(s) of assigned games.
