Oncology Physician Specializing in Thoracic Cancers

The Division of Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine (DOIM), in the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine, at the University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Institute are recruiting an outstanding mid-senior level clinician specializing in thoracic cancers. The selected applicant will be appointed as Associate or Full Professor in the clinical or tenure track. They will provide clinical care and lead clinical or translational research in our main campus, community, and affiliate hospital locations. This position is part of Huntsman Cancer Institute's strategic priority to provide fully integrated, high value cancer care across the Intermountain West. As part of a growing translational research initiative, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop clinical research programs.

Competitive candidates will have a track record of accomplishment as an academic oncologist, as evidenced by practice and excellence in clinical oncology, original contributions to oncology research, national and international visibility, a history of extramural research funding, and progressive leadership and administrative experience.

Minimum Qualifications: Medical Degree, eligible for ABIM board certification in Oncology, eligible for a Utah Medical License
