The position is specifically focused on the analysis of omics data (genetic, microbiome, epigenetic, proteomic and/or metabolomic data) in the biomedical sciences. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced faculty in CIDA and the Department of Biostatistics and Informatics. The individual in this position will consult and collaborate with investigators on all aspects of the research process, including the design of new studies (sample size and analysis planning), data management, complex programming, analysis implementation and data visualization, and dissemination of results. You will be expected to co-author abstracts, oral and poster presentations, and scientific manuscripts, providing high-level, professional, and scientifically rigorous design and analysis support to biomedical researchers at CU Anschutz.
CIDA is dedicated to expanding analytics expertise and research across the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, the largest academic health center in the Rocky Mountain region. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly impact public health while receiving mentoring and career development support. Over time, you will be expected to work more independently and apply more advanced methodologies to solve analytic challenges. As part of a dynamic team committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in research and public health practice, you will have the chance to grow professionally while contributing to the advancement of health equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on Research Design: Work with investigators to design new studies, including determining appropriate sample sizes, developing analysis plans, and ensuring robust study methodologies.
- Data Management and Integration: Oversee data management tasks, including data pre-processing and integration of complex datasets.
