About the Opportunity
The School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time Open Rank Non-Tenure Track Clinical Professor and Program Director for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program offered at the Charlotte, NC campus. This position has an anticipated start date in July 2026.
The candidate will have demonstrated teaching excellence and commitment to supporting faculty, staff, and student environments. The candidate should possess a terminal degree in Nursing, Education, or related field.
Responsibilities of the Program Director include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee and provide content needed to ensure accuracy and compliance with governance and regulatory processes...
- Ensure timely submission of forms relating to students' achievement of milestones...
- Collaborate with Bouve College Enrollment Management...
- Help to recruit and yield qualified students...
- In collaboration with Bouve College Enrollment Management, evaluate applicants...
- In partnership with Office of Student Services, monitor academic standing...
- Initiate and foster external relationships...
- Represent the program at department, college and university events...
- Execute and oversee program assessment and evaluation...
- Forecast and manage the allocation of program and university resources...
Qualifications
- Terminal degree in Nursing, Education, or related field by appointment start date.
- Evidence of an established area of research and scholarship, teaching excellence, and demonstrated excellence and commitment to supporting faculty, staff, and student environments.
- Licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Eligibility for RN licensure in Massachusetts
