Open Rank Faculty Position - Microbiology and Immunology (Assistant, Associate and Full Professor)
The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology located in Jupiter, Florida is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at all levels within the Department of Immunology and Microbiology. This position is an excellent opportunity for dynamic individuals looking to join and enhance our robust research programs in Microbiology & Immunology. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional scholar dedicated to developing an innovative basic and/or translational research program in areas including, but not limited to immunology, infectious diseases, cancer biology, and drug development. Areas of interest include: HIV and tropical viruses including humanized mouse models; B and T lymphocyte biology; molecular regulation of chromatin structure and RNA biology; structural biology including Cryo-EM and Cryo-ET; functional genomics, genome editing, systems biology, computational biology, and bioinformatics and data science.

Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD, MD or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and an outstanding record of research that demonstrates originality in addressing significant questions. Successful candidates will be expected to establish an active research group, be an interactive member of the faculty, and participate in interdisciplinary research and training.
Successful applicants will have a strong scientific program; experience in, and a commitment to, teaching and mentoring graduate students; and a strong interest in participating in inter- and intra-campus collaborations.
