Teaching-track: Associate Professor (Teaching)/Assistant Professor (Teaching) /Lecturer

A Ph.D. degree in a relevant field, with specialization in one of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or Robotics; Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Astronomy, and Automation, or other related disciplines. Interest and preferably experience in teaching technology or science at tertiary level; Proficiency in English; A proven record of teaching excellence would be an advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching university-required courses related to Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and/or General Education in Natural Science; Assisting in curriculum development with colleagues. The appointee is expected to commence work in the academic year 2025-26. A Ph.D. must be in hand prior to taking up the appointment.

Salary & Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made under the establishment of CUHK, Shenzhen and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the People’s Republic of China. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.
