Position Summary
The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for several tenure-track and tenured faculty positions to add to IU’s research leadership in Cybersecurity, at the assistant, associate, or full professor levels. We seek exceptional researchers and educators whose work advances the science and practice of cybersecurity to join the Department of Computer Science or the Department of Informatics at the Luddy School.
We welcome applicants in all areas of cybersecurity. We are particularly interested in candidates whose work enhances the School’s strengths in areas such as systems and software security, data privacy, human-centered security and privacy, and trustworthy AI.
Successful applicants will join a collaborative academic community with strong cross-disciplinary ties in computing, engineering, law, policy, and health.
These 10‐month faculty appointments have a preferred start date of August 1, 2026.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited educational institution, and demonstrate a strong record of research productivity and potential for (or evidence of) excellence in teaching and service.
