Job Summary
The Research Services Clinical Sciences (Open Rank – Intermediate to Senior) Professional provides essential support to the Pathology Shared Resource by coordinating the collection, processing, storage, and management of biospecimens for clinical and translational research.
Key Responsibilities
- (10%) Prepare and manage research staff schedule to cover research specimen collections during patient clinic visits and surgeries.
- (15%) Data collection and management from medical record systems (EPIC)
- (40%) Collection and processing of tissue and body fluid samples from clinical procedures.
- (15%) Collection of research specimens from surgical procedures in the pathology gross room
- (5%) Development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and compliance documentation
- (5%) Physical and digital inventory management
- (5%) Data entry and management in Clinical Research Management Systems (OnCore)
- (5%) Tissue analysis and distribution for research projects
Work Location
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
