OR Radiology Technologist Lead
The Lead Radiographic Imaging Technologist position performs all duties of the Radiologic Technologist, in addition to coordinating daily workflow, daily assignments, patient flow, and provides support to the operations of the department. The lead provides all quality assessment activities for the imaging site in addition to the maintenance of accreditation preparedness for the site. The lead will provide assistance in assessing technologists performance for annual merit increases as well as orient new staff to the department. The lead may cover additional Imaging Supervisor/Manager responsibilities as necessary, in the Supervisor/Managers absence or should a vacancy occur. The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Services leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH license required. Minimum Associates Degree in relevant field of study required. Minimum 2 years experience in modality over which the employee is a Lead.
