About the Role
We are seeking an Organisational Development Manager to work closely with the Director of Talent, OD, and Remuneration at Swinburne. In this role, you will lead a team of organisational development professionals in developing and delivering enterprise-wide People and Culture programs. These programs will encompass leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, capability development, workforce and talent strategies to support our strategic and operational objectives and foster our One Swinburne culture.
The Manager will provide coaching and support to the Organisational Development team, ensuring strong collaboration with University stakeholders and delivery partners within the People and Culture Function. This position will offer University-wide thought leadership, advice, and support regarding Swinburne's learning and organisational development objectives and priorities, ensuring alignment with our strategy, values, and behaviors. The Manager will also be actively involved in the hands-on delivery of projects and initiatives.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Experience in leading the development and implementation of HR/organisational development and change programs and strategies in medium to large sized organisations (such as leadership development, talent management, succession planning, performance management, and cultural change)
- Experience in managing large projects in a dynamic and complex environment including demonstrated capacity and ability to plan, schedule and organise cross functional projects given multiple priorities or perspectives
- Proven ability to effectively manage teams and budgets
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels and deal with highly confidential issues

Qualifications
Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or related field and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
