Ornamental Horticulture Coordinator

OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as an Ornamental Horticulture Coordinator. The incumbent under the direction of an assigned administrator, organize, coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations and supervision of the Ornamental Horticulture Department; including facilitation of department accounts, budgets and purchasing; maintenance of department equipment and supplies for the ornamental horticulture programs and facilities including a storeroom, retail store, greenhouse, shade house and other growing areas; coordinate and organize large-scale department events and activities; oversee and participate in the plant care activities; assist in the overall promotion of the ornamental horticulture program and serve as liaison between the Nursery, vendors, the College and the community.

This recruitment will establish an eligibility list valid for 6 months and will be used to fill current and future vacancies.
