Do you love sport and want to work in a role that allows you to do something that you are passionate about every day?

At the University of Nottingham, we believe that sport is essential for the wellbeing of our students and staff and should be accessible to all, and our proud history of success and sporting pedigree includes Olympic medallists and international-standard athletes among our students and alumni.

Would you like to be part of our ambitious future, working within sector leading sports facilities to deliver a programme of sporting programs and international level events?

If so, we are seeking an Outdoor Sports Facilities Manager able to bring the commitment, flexibility, and dedication essential to ensure the highest levels of delivery and customer service, ensuring a first class and welcoming environment to students and the wider community at all times.

Working on a rota basis, you will be responsible for motivating, leading and co-ordinating a shared team of staff; ensuring sector leading standards of housekeeping, maintenance; health and safety, operational and quality management systems and the delivery of the university sporting and events programmes.

You should have ISRM/C and G Higher Professional Diploma or ISRM Sport and Recreation Management Certificate or equivalent work experience.

You will be experienced in sports facility operation and events delivery and motivating teams to achieve planned targets and objectives related to facility management, customer service and income generation.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a generous holiday allowance of 26 days plus 8 public holidays, pension scheme and access to leisure and childcare facilities across our campuses.

Candidates will need to be flexible in their approach to their working week, noting that evening, weekend, and work over public holidays will be required. Core hours of operation are 6:30am to 11:00pm.

This position is a permanent, full-time role (averaging 36.25 hours per week) working on a rotational shift pattern.
