Position Announcement

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program is seeking a part-time Lab Assistant to support laboratory instruction and student skill development. This role assists faculty during scheduled open lab sessions and helps maintain a safe, supportive learning environment. Must be able to work Fridays, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty during PTA open lab sessions
• Support students with lab activities, skills practice, and equipment use
• Monitor lab sessions to ensure safety and proper technique
• Assist with lab setup and cleanup

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Current, active Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
• Ability to work Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Part-time hourly staff position, working Fridays, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Hourly rate of $26.00/hr.
