Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct faculty teaching positions in the History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences (HPSS) department who are available to teach daytime, on-campus classes in the disciplines of history and sociology. On campus teaching assignments require availability during the day on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday and/or Tuesday/Thursday class schedule.
Applications for Adjunct Instructor positions are accepted on a continuous basis. Candidates are contacted and hired as opportunities arise, depending on the college's needs.
Requirements:
A) A Master's degree in the discipline; OR
B) A Master's degree in a closely related discipline or profession with at least eighteen (18) graduate credit hours in the discipline; OR
C) An undergraduate degree in the discipline with a Master's degree in a closely related discipline or profession.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Additional Information:
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
