SUNY Broome Community College is seeking dedicated and passionate nursing professionals to join our team as Part-Time Adjunct Instructors in the Nursing department. If you're looking to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of nurses while maintaining flexibility in your schedule, we'd love to hear from you!
Adjunct instructors have the opportunity to teach in a variety of clinical settings and nursing courses; opportunities vary by semester and include six (6), seven and a half (7.5), and twelve (12) hour per day positions in either the weekday or evening-weekend programs. Weekend availability is preferred.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- A Master's Degree in nursing is required or candidate must be currently enrolled in a Master's Degree in a nursing program; these are state and accreditation requirements.
- New York State Registered Nursing license required with recent clinical experience preferred.
- Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
