Instructor of Associate Degree Nursing
General Description
Pay for this position is based on a 9 month contract working Fall and Spring semesters. This position will office at the WCJC Wharton Campus.
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students. Requirements
This position requires a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing. If master's degree is in a discipline other than nursing, must hold BSN and minimum of six graduate hours in nursing. A valid, unencumbered TX Nursing License or privilege to practice is also required. This position is required to meet minimum requirements for teaching at the post-secondary level set by the Southern Association of colleges and Schools, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and accrediting agencies for individual programs. A criminal background check is required.
