Location: Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary: Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in Environmental Science in the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities: Teaching undergraduate courses in Environmental Science such as Science, Society, & the Environment I (SCI 1101) and II (SCI 1102), and other courses as needed. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Environmental Science, Biology, or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire. OR A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: A record of using evidence-based teaching practices at the university level; A record of teaching non-STEM majors; A record of teaching environmental-science-related courses; A flexible schedule that can support teaching evenings.
