Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The PT Assistant II, Computer Research (G) supports a professor or principal investigator on a specific project, which can involve a wide range of tasks from data collection and analysis to software development. This role is common in university departments or research labs and offers hands-on experience in the field.

This is a temporary, grant-funded position. Continuation of the position from one academic year to the next is dependent upon continued grant funding.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Data management and analysis: Collects, organizes, and analyzes research data using statistical software and scripting languages. Conducts research on topics as stipulated by the supervising manager
