Job SummaryThe Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC) is seeking a part-time Compliance Intake Specialist to serve as part of OCRC's team responsible for responding to reports of discrimination, harassment, and/or sexual misconduct under the university's policies.
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Monitors and processes incoming reports of sexual misconduct pursuant to university and campus procedures and internal protocols.
- Conducts informational meetings explaining relevant resources, policies, and procedures to parties involved in the investigation process.
- Serves as a notetaker during investigation meetings.
- Assists with preparing formal investigatory reports and/or analyses pursuant to procedures and internal protocols.
- Assists OCRC in coordinating the university's compliance with civil rights laws by handling other related duties and initiatives as assigned.
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.
EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- 2 years of experience in a related area including: legal, compliance, investigatory, or related field.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Additional InformationApplicants who can generally have hours scheduled all 5 days are highly preferred.
Work LocationIndianapolis, Indiana or Bloomington, Indiana
This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work), subject to change based on university policy and departmental business needs.
Advertised Salary$25.00 - $30.00 an hour depending upon qualifications.
Work HoursScheduled between 9:00 AM -5:00 PM
Monday -Friday
Estimated 20 hours a week.
