Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Part-time Coordinator III, Foundation provides oversight and facilitation of day-to-day and some long-term operations within the Lone Star College Foundation area, playing a strong role in leading, planning, development, evaluation and improvement. Ensures smooth and efficient operations as well as compliance with policies, procedures and a variety of local, state and federal regulations. Coordinates logistics, services and support surrounding significantly diverse programs and departments. Makes and communicates process decisions based on best practices. A wide variety of related duties will be required depending upon the workload and activities at any given time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees daily and some long-term operations of assigned area, actively maintains up-to-date knowledge of area and acts as point of contact and liaison for internal constituents
- Enters, tracks and maintains a variety of data, including documents, spreadsheets and databases, and presents findings to Foundation staff
- May be responsible for ensuring and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal processes and documentation requirements
- Plans, schedules and coordinates various meetings/events, including site selection and preparation, marketing and training materials, and general support
- Coordinate with Financial Aid offices to receive, organize and mail all student to donor thank you letters each semester
- Provides support for all Foundation events including tracking of silent auction items for StarGala
- Provide administrative support with accounting functions to Foundation Accountant, included but not limited to; logging and tracking a variety of data, support with annual audit, preparation of committee meeting minutes
- Takes part in and/or leads special projects as needed
- Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Salary
Hourly Pay Rate is $21.82
