FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Schedule: Placement on the adjunct faculty salary schedule is based upon education and credited experience. Initial placement can range from $89.20 to $130.94 per hour (Salary Schedule HB - Laboratory Rate).
Months Per Year: Semester assignments as needed

Duties and Responsibilities
- Directs all aspects, areas, and components of the esports team.
- Coordinates all strategic aspects of the esports program
- Organizes, prepares, and conducts individual and team practices, training, and competition to improve player performance
- Recruits student-athletes through scouting and attending events
- Represents the sports program to various institutional programs and externally as appropriate
- Oversees audio and visual equipment usage; assists users with set-up and operation of equipment
- Maintains currency of knowledge concerning relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Provide feedback and guidance for individuals and teams
- Build team dynamics

- All aspects of the sport
- Current and developing trends in esports technology, methodology, and techniques

Job Requirements:
- Any bachelor's degree or higher and two years of related professional experience OR any associate degree and six years of related professional experience OR the equivalent (see below). Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master's degree.
- Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to, and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practice both within and outside of the classroom.
Preferred
- Master's degree or above in kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise or adaptive physical education OR Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND Master's degree or above in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration or physical therapy
