"Part-time Faculty, Materials Science and Engineering"

The Materials Science & Engineering program at Youngtown State University is seeking qualified applicants for part-time teaching of core curriculum courses such as Mechanical Properties of Materials to doctoral students in the program.

Work Schedule:Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.

Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures:Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Minimum Qualifications:Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering or related field. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:Five years or more years of teaching experience at the university level; ability to demonstrate first-hand operation of analytical instrumentation often encountered in Materials research.
