Part-Time Faculty: MFT 681 Ethics and Issues (Fall 2025)
Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a part-time instructor to teach MFT 681 (3 credits) Marriage and Family Therapy Ethics and Issues (Residential MFT MA Program) during the Fall 2025 semester.
Course Description: Ethical, legal, and professional issues in marriage and family therapy. For students in the Marriage and Family Therapy program.
Qualifications: MA or PhD, and previous teaching experience. LMFT or equivalent.
- Developing and/or updating class syllabus.
- Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments.
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
- Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course.
- Meeting all designated class periods.
- Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations.
- Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
