Pay Range: $5,000 per section
Pay Determination: Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months salary unless otherwise specified.

Job Description: The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University invites applications for a part-time instructor for MGT 355 (Strategic Human Resource Management) beginning in January 2026. The course meets in person on Monday from 6:45-9:30 PM. Instruction for this course occurs on campus, and instructors must offer office hours in person. This course introduces human resource management and its importance to organizations in gaining competitive advantage.
Qualifications: Masters in relevant field or relevant organizational experience.
Job Specific Qualifications: Teaching experience preferred. Ability to meet and teach in-person.
Responsibilities: Preparation and execution of lectures, course materials, projects, exams, and other assignments. Presenting instruction based on competencies and performance level of the course. Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours. Meeting all designated class periods. Completing mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations. Providing departmentally sanctioned form for completing student evaluations. Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty members.
